waking up early insomnia

Insomnia or what?
Okay here’s my situation:
During school weeks, I sleep pretty much in this cycle: go to bed at 10 – 11pm and get up at around 6 – 6:30 am. When I get home at 2:30 pm I sometimes sleep again (depending on how tired I am) and then wake up around 5-6pm. And then I still manage to sleep at 10 – 11pm that night.
Now, when it’s holidays… I can’t sleep at all, no matter how tired I am. The latest I have fallen asleep though was around 4 am maybe? And even if I wake up early in order to be deadly tired that night after less than 6 hours sleep, I still only fall asleep after 2 am after a huge struggle.
Now I’m not sure if that could be insomnia because it’s too much of an up and down roller coaster? But I did have some or other form of insomnia about maybe 7 years ago…
If you sleep that much during school and then after school you don’t have insomnia. You sleep alot! You should try not to nap after school though so you sleep a bit better at night. On the holidays maybe you are just staying up too late since It is the holidays and 6 hours sleep still isn’t insomnia.! I have insomnia and have to use sleeping pills and still sometimes only get about 3 hrs per night or none at all. Believe me you are OK!
